These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of autobaserepairhub.com and the bodywork, mechanical repair and accident claim management services provided by AutoBase Repair Hub ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or booking work with us, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
1. About Us
AutoBase Repair Hub operates from Unit 6C, 255 Water Road, Wembley, HA0 1JW, United Kingdom. Full company registration details are available on request.
2. Website Purpose
Our website describes our repair and claim management services, general benefits available on non-fault and fault claims, and how to contact us. It does not replace a physical inspection of your vehicle — final scope and pricing are confirmed after assessment by our technicians or after liaison with the relevant insurer.
3. Estimates and Pricing
Any prices or benefit summaries shown on the website are general guidance only. Actual costs, excess amounts and cover depend on your specific insurance policy and the circumstances of the accident or repair. We will confirm scope and, where relevant, insurer authorisation before chargeable work begins.
4. Insurance Claim Management
Where we manage an insurance claim on your behalf:
- Outcomes such as no excess or no-claims bonus protection depend on liability being accepted by the at-fault party's insurer and on your own policy terms
- We act to progress your claim and coordinate recovery, courtesy car and repairs, but we are not an insurer and do not guarantee liability decisions made by insurers
- Courtesy vehicle provision is subject to availability and the terms of the courtesy vehicle provider
- Any personal injury signposting is provided for information only and does not constitute legal advice
5. Bookings and Vehicle Drop-Off
When you book an appointment or accident recovery, please provide accurate vehicle and contact details. Please remove valuables from your vehicle before it is collected or dropped off — we are not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle.
6. Parts and Labour Warranty
Paintwork carried out by us is covered by a 1-year warranty against defects in the paint finish, subject to fair use and no subsequent damage or unauthorised repair work. Mechanical parts and labour are covered by our standard workshop warranty for a reasonable period following completion, and manufacturer warranty may provide additional coverage on new parts where applicable.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect, unauthorised modification, or failure to address a related fault reported after collection.
7. Vehicle Storage and Liability
Vehicles left with us are stored at the owner's risk. We take reasonable care of vehicles on our premises, but our liability for loss or damage is limited except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law, including death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Acceptable Use of the Website
You agree to use the website lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data
- Introduce malware, scraping bots or disruptive automated traffic
- Copy, republish or commercially exploit substantial parts of the site without permission
- Submit false, abusive or unlawful material through contact or claim forms
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all website text, layout, branding, images and structure are owned by or licensed to AutoBase Repair Hub and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution or adaptation requires our prior written consent.
10. Third-Party Services and Independence
AutoBase Repair Hub is an independent repair centre and is not an insurer, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by any specific insurer or vehicle manufacturer unless expressly agreed in writing. Links to third-party providers, if present, are for convenience — we are not responsible for third-party websites, products or services.
11. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK consumer protection law, including rights relating to services carried out with reasonable care and skill.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties (Website)
The website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.
13. Limitation of Liability
Subject to mandatory rights that cannot be excluded, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of use of a vehicle beyond a reasonable repair time, or business interruption arising from use of the website. Our total liability arising from website use alone is limited to £100 where no paid service has been provided through the site.
14. Privacy and Cookies
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and browser technologies.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Please review this page periodically.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence where applicable.
